Location

The surroundings of the town of Ostuni - the white town by the sea – called „Città Bianca“ are characterised by its freshly ploughed red earth, its gnarled millenium-old olive trees, old estates (masserie) and its natural stone trulli, fairytale-like relics from a bygone area.

Between all of those monumental olive trees  the stone „pointed caps” of the trulli and the deep blue of the sea, which is unparalleled in Italy, are flashing beautifully now and then.

The uniqueness of this landscape was not without reason declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
